Only 37% of Adults Have Made Their Will - Autumn 2025
According to findings by the National Will Register annual National Wills Report 2025 only some 37% of adults in the UK have written their Will - down from 53% in the previous year. This is from 2000 respondents. Personally, I feel the large variation casts a question mark over the Report's conclusion - for either this year, or last year, or even both years as the drop is huge and would imply that there have been millions of deaths this year.
However, what is not disputed is that there is a significant number of adults in the UK who do not have a valid, up-to-date Will - which leaves their surviving family members vulnerable. Our guide 'Why you should make your Will' provides insight into this topic.
