Convenient Wills commenced trading in 2005.
Convenient Wills specialises in providing Wills (‘Last Will and Testament’) and Lasting Powers of Attorney (‘LPAs’) to people living locally to the business (i.e. in Staffordshire, East Cheshire, and North Shropshire).
About Rod Jones - owner of Convenient Wills.
I started the business after a 20 year career with a High Street bank (of which 8 years were in management),
and then after being made redundant I worked for 9 years as a financial adviser before setting up Convenient Wills in 2005.
All of my previous roles have involved aspects of financial and business advice, with a focus on customer service and care. This training and experience is reflected in the business I now run.
Over the years I have gained significant technical knowledge from the exams I have passed e.g.:
the Chartered Institute of Banker’s Banking Diploma - which tested my knowledge on property law, business law, and trust law (amongst others); and
the Chartered Insurance Institute’s exams - to hold the Financial Planning Certificate. The CII exams tested my knowledge in trust law and taxation (amongst others).
and working with other people in this sector.
I continuously look to keep myself up-to-date with events affecting my specialist area of advice by attending training seminars and meetings.
I have been actively drafting Wills since 1999. I now focus 100% on the provision of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney to people in Staffordshire, East Cheshire and North Shropshire.
